My mother has always told me, “Things are not forever,” which is especially true in high school. During my four years at West High, I have learned to accept change. Almost everyone experiences change in some way whether it be internally or externally. So don’t expect to be the exact same person you were when you first started high school. However, the way you accept these changes and adjust to them is what defines you as a person. Though change may seem scary to some, it is essential in order to grow and mature into an independent young adult and to prepare yourself for the real world.

We all are scared of what the future may or may not bring to us, but we must face whatever difficulties are necessary in order to achieve success.

Just remember to make choices and changes which you are proud of and which ensure your happiness.
