The Zephyr

Andrea Rivera
Meet Andrea Rivera, one of the newest additions to the Journalism staff here at West High School. She would like to learn better writing skills and she would also like to tell a story through photography. Rivera started her schooling at Marsh Creek Elementary in Brentwood, California. She later jumped to Garin Elementary and then to Edna Hill Middle School, all of which were located in Brentwood. She then transferred to Monte Vista for her eighth grade year and has finally made her way to West High School, where she is currently a sophomore. Andrea is a softball player who also practices Jiu Jitsu. Rivera enjoys walking her dog and playing catch with her brother. She has aspirations of becoming a pediatrician along with taking up photography as a side job. Rivera would like to leave us with a few words for her fellow classmates, “Don’t Procrastinate! Break the Habit!”
