We’re getting ready to say goodbye to the seniors on campus, including the boy’s tennis team. These guys have worked hard to achieve their goals. The boys’ tennis team is lead by Coach John Anderson who all the seniors gave thanks to for all the things he’s taught them.
Senior Owen Jackson has been playing for the past three years. He says he wants to continue playing tennis in college as a leisure activity with friends. Jackson states that tennis has taught him discipline and how to work under pressure.
Senior Mason Hak-Vann mentioned his passion for playing and gratefulness to coach Anderson. He states that something he often looks forward to is seeing his friends win games. He has learned self-discipline and extreme focus from playing tennis. Mason would like to thank his teammates for making his last season a great one.
Senior Sharan Subramanian stated his appreciation for tennis as a sport and he says he’s excited to continue playing. He said his favorite tennis memory is when he played against Tracy with a 6-0 score. He’d like to thank coach Ben for helping with training on the courts. He mentioned how fun and exciting this season has been and how he’s ready to finish his senior year off with a bang.
As we say goodbye to the seniors on the tennis team, we hope they will go far in their future adventures. Tennis has taught these boys many things and has brought many joyous days. To the seniors on the team and every senior at West, we wish you good luck!
