As the chill of winter starts settling in, everyone starts to get ready for their favorite winter drinks this season. The days grew shorter, and the night become longer, so many people prefer hot coco, or hot coffee to warm them up on these cold nights, or many prefer cold winter drinks. Lots of drinks are usually seasonal or many only wait for winter to drink their favorites. The big question is what are people’s favorite winter drinks?
When interviewing Freshmen Gabriella Bugarin Ulloa what she prefers during these chilly days she says, “I always prefer hot drinks so my go to has to be Hot Caramel Macchiato from Starbucks.” I also asked her if her drink is a seasonal drink, and she responded with “No, but I would only drink it around this time especially when it’s cold it tends to always warm me up” The Hot Caramel Macchiato is a sweet, creamy rich espresso with milk, vanilla syrup and is topped with caramel.
Now when I interviewed English teacher Stacy Le about her favorites to drink, and she responded with “I mostly prefer hot drinks especially teas and hot chocolate, but I like when it’s homemade.”
Next, I interviewed Sophomore Marylin Saavedra about her to go to drinks during this cold season, and she mentions,” My favorite and to go to drink must be Chocolate Abuelita, I really prefer hot drinks when it’s cold outside.” Chocolate Abuelita is a favorite for many people you can find at any store.
As it keeps getting colder and closer to Christmas, many will be out making or ordering their favorite drinks. Everyone will order or make drinks to their liking, but most will drink the traditional drinks or create their own.
