Graduation is growing near, yet do we know anything about it? Here, I will list the expectations and information about the Graduation ceremony for seniors if you are curious about it.
Information provided by Principle, Mr. Henderson, “Expectations For a Dignified Graduation.” Now, for the class of 2025, only for those seniors who have achieved all the requirements for the ceremony may participate. The practice for the Graduation will be held on Thursday May 29th, 2025, starting at 8:30am within the stadium. Any senior who fails to participate in graduation practice may not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony.
As for the tickets, they will be distributed at the end of the graduation practice. As for clothing, graduates are expected to dress appropriately for the ceremony and reflect the dignity of this wonderful occasion. But, failing to dress appropriately will lead to a senior forfeiting the right to participate in the ceremony.
The clothing includes, yet not limited to:
1) Pantsuits, dresses, a skirt and blouse, collared dress shirts with ties, slacks and dress shoes or sandals, no flip flops. Wedge heels are allowed. Flip flops or pool/beach-type slippers, spiked heels are not allowed.
2) Graduation caps and gowns must not be altered or embellished in any way and must be worn during the ceremony.
Students can’t bring purses, valuables, cameras, cell phones, or other personal belongings to the ceremony, for there will be no place to store the items. If you do bring any personal belongings, you will be denied entry. You are prohibited from throwing objects, beach balls, loud outbursts and any
other forms of undignified behavior will warrant an immediate removal of the student from the ceremony.
Next, any fines and fees must be cleared by Friday, May 23nd by 4:00 pm. Also, all graduating students are expected to obey or adhere to the conduct code as outlined in the Tracy Unified School District Student Handbook. And any student who doesn’t comply with school policies, will not be allowed from participating in graduation activities, including commencement.
