On August 29th, the FFA Tailgate will be taking place, food, and activities are always present for you and all the guests to enjoy! The FFA Tailgate has happened in all 4 years of my high school experience and every time it’s better than the last. I always encourage newer students at West High School to leave their comfort zone and have some fun! Getting out of the house and making memories with friends is always recommended and FFA tailgate is the best excuse to do so! The FFA organization at this school is always trying to raise money to fund their trips, events, and continuation of the program. I interviewed Mrs. Cabrera, (An FFA teacher) who told me that she is expecting an increase in turnout from last year. Along with the activities provided last year, they will also be selling snow cones for $2 each! Varying flavors of snow cones for whatever your sweet tooth is desiring will also be available. Whatever grade you’re in, take it from a senior, skipping out of events like this is not recommended! Your years here go fast and anything you can do to make memories and support your school I would never say no to. I’ll see you out there West High. Go Wolf Pack!
