Atena Hashimi is a freshman at West High, born in Afghanistan. In her free time, she likes to sleep, draw, and eat pizza. Her favorite color is blue. It’s Atena’s first year in journalism, and she’s interested in writing and photography. Atena is considering joining West High’s girls’ tennis team, since she played tennis in Turkey for five years. This year she’s looking forward to watching West High’s sports games.
