Isabel Cruz, Staff Reporter
Senior Isabel Cruz is a new member of Journalism and is eager to share her intriguing writing style to The Zephyr. Isabel was born in Daly City, California and has a younger brother named Diego who’s 13. At school, she enjoys her Psychology class and Mr. Fallquist’s lectures. Other than Journalism, Isabel is involved in other extracurricular activities at West. She is on the cross country team, the secretary for Project Smile and is a part of CSF. Isabel enjoys watching Netflix, having picnics with friends and eating tasty tacos from taquerias, when she’s able to unwind. A person Isabel looks up to is her loving father. She loves her father for his selflessness and how hard-working he is. Cruz plans on going to UC Santa Barbara after graduating and wants to pursue environmental science. Although she wants a career in environmental science, her dream jobs would to be a photographer for National Geographic or to work for a video production company. Isabel is very friendly and a good-natured person. Journalism is eager to see her skills at work.
