On April 6, West High went against Lincoln in an intense track meet. In many of the races, both teams were neck and neck. Both teams fought hard and put lots of dedication into this meet.

The real question is, who fought harder to get the win? Varsity boys came in first with 78 points, Varsity girls came in second with 32 points, Frosh/soph boys came in first with 77 points and Frosh/soph girls came in second with 63 points. With events such as the 4×100 relay, 4×400 relay, 100HH and many more, this meet was packed and exciting to watch. When asked how it felt to be out there running, junior Harleen Kaur said, “It was a little cold and it was raining so everything was a little off, but it felt good to be running on the track with my team.” Overall, the meet was a success and every player should have gone home proud and ready to try again at the next meet.
