The years go by fast. I am sure that’s what you keep hearing and what you have heard your entire life. I will say no such thing. It’s a long and important time of your life integral to your development into adolescence. It is important to really move through this transition in your life with an open mind.
In my freshman year, I was new to the area after moving from San Lorenzo. It was hard for me to make friends during this time, but eventually people came around. I went through this year with relative ease, and I look back on this time fondly.
My sophomore year was truthfully my worst year, but I still enjoyed myself throughout. This year instilled a lot of mental fortitude into me which we become important for my upcoming years.
My junior year was my most relaxed year. There were no problems throughout this year; it was relatively easy. I made a lot of friends and strengthened a lot of bonds.
Lastly my senior year. This year has been the most confusing for me. I’ve spent a lot of time trying to figure out what I am going to pursue in my future. I’ve accepted that I likely won’t know anytime soon; and I’m okay with that. This year has had many ups and downs, but I know I will look back on it fondly.
