New Fast-Food wages have gone up recently. California’s minimum wage increased to $20 wages for covered fast food workers by an average of 11% and did not reduce employment. Back in 2020 the average fast-food worker was making a whopping $8.29, fast food workers’ wages increased by 12-13 dollars in California. This allows adults to provide more for their families and get a higher paycheck. This also encourages teenagers to get a job and learn about business and how the industry works early on. Fast food jobs are good to get now and days with McDonald’s paying crew members 19-23+ dollars in California, In–n–out paying employees approximately 22-23$ an hour and Burger King paying their crew members 20-21+. These are calm and cool jobs to get in 2026 especially with gas prices rising and inflation. Do you think fast food wages are fine like this or should they increase it.
