Students were recently given a survey about their favorite video anchors and editors. I asked them to choose their top three picks for each question, split into an anchor segment and an editor segment. There were three guiding questions to help students decide their favorites. The results will be discussed here.  

Starting with the anchors, the clear favorites were Matthew (Matt) Jolly and Ximena Rojas, followed by Eric Carlson. When looking at more specific results, Matt scored the highest in all categories, only tying with Eric for the best humor. 

For the editors, Ximena won by a fair margin, with Anissia White trailing behind. This was especially seen in editing style, where Ximena earned the most votes in any category. A similar story to the anchors plays out here, with Anissia coming in second in every category. 

Overall, Matt and Ximena are the favorites when it comes to the announcements. Eric and Anissia follow closely behind. Everyone works hard to get the announcements out every morning.
