As graduation around the corner, seniors here at West are looking back on their memories, especially the ones that have shaped many of these seniors into who they are. Those memories, from exciting school events and sports games to moments with friends and teachers, many students say their time at West have given them experiences they will never forget.
When interviewing Senior Marion Younes on what has been her favorite school event so far and why and she says, “The Senior recess I really enjoyed it because they had food, movie play and we were able to be with our friends for the two hours.” Then she explains how Mr. Hill is a sweet teacher, and his classroom is a place her and her friends can hang out at after I asked her if she has any favorite class or teachers.
I also interviewed Senior Cesar Perez on a moment that has impacted his life the most here at West and he replies with “I have joined many clubs here on campus to be in the rally which is definitely a big thing.” I then ask Perez when he thinks about West what memories come to him, he says “The memories that come to me our just hanging out with my friends, going off campus with them also field trips i have gone on.”
With only two months left until graduation, the next two months will be the last days that class of 2026 will be in the same class. They will forever cherish these moments, especially since High School is the best years of many people’s lives.
