Senior Ajaybir Heir is a new addition to the Journalism team. Heir was born in Fremont, CA. His favorite subject is Statistics because he finds that numbers are stable and reliable. Heir’s favorite teacher is Mr. Castor because he says that Mr. Castor is really lenient and really just a fun teacher to have. After high school, Heir plans on seeking a job in the business field; he likes that there is a lot of opportunity to travel. For fun he likes to hang out and take it easy, travel and he used to be on the track team before a leg injury. Because he was on the track team, he is planning on photographing pictures and writing stories on West High school sports events. Heir’s advice to incoming freshmen is, “Grades over everything. In twenty years everything else in high school really won’t matter, but your grades will always be with you.” The successful senior plans on bringing his great communication and interviewing skills to Journalism.
