Galilea Avina, Opinion Editor
Sophomore Galilea Avina, a first year journalism student, plans to add a lot to the paper. Avina was born in Stockton and raised in Tracy alongside her brother. Avina’s hobbies include; playing basketball, reading and photography. Avina has a flexible taste in music and is open minded to anything. She aspires to expand the horizons of the Zephyr’s illustrations and include more dynamic photos. Not only does she plan to improve the Zephyr, but also herself. Avina wants to attend a prestigious UC and pursue her dreams in the medical field. Avina accredits her intrinsic ambitions to her mother who has taught her to dream big. Her mother’s support, paired with an insatiable hunger for perfection, will likely not disappoint.
