Ian Lowe, Staff Reporter
Senior Ian Lowe is a new addition to the Journalism team. Lowe joined Journalism as he seeks a future in the Journalistic field. He is thrilled to bring individuality and some new styles to the Zephyr. Lowe plays basketball and runs track; he is a forward and discus and shot put thrower. Lowe enjoys traveling and has visited Oregon, Texas, Florida, Nevada and Arizona. If he could take a trip anywhere, Lowe desires to head towards the Philippines. His secret talent is being able to play the bass guitar behind his head. Lowe also has a prominent musical side, he himself composes music and can play a multitude of instruments. The instruments that Lowe dabbles in are the trombone, tuba, clarinet, baritone, guitar, piano and bongo drums. He had been able to play the flute in the past too but “Lowe did something with his lip” and that talent slipped through his fingertips. If any actor could play Lowe in the story of his life it would have to be Dane DeHaan who plays Harry Osborn, “New Goblin” in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Yet since “No one knows who that is” according to Lowe, his second choice would be Bradley Cooper. We are ecstatic to have Lowe as a new addition to our Journalism family.
