The second movie has come to the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise, featuring fan favorite characters along with the cast of the old movie. I will be talking about the plot of the film and what students think about the second movie.
The plot of the movie was the characters in the past film slowly getting by after the events of the first movie when they figured out there was another location. Then one of the main characters, Abby, goes to the second location and runs away from her brother Mike. Then the Animatronics are set free in their town while the main characters mission is to try to stop the animatronics havoc.
Onto student opinions, freshman student Parmvir Singh says, “The movie was mid I liked that it reintroduced William Afton the main villain, but I didn’t like the fact that it had a small amount of horror scenes. It felt more like a superhero vs villain movie rather than a horror movie.” Sadly, students didn’t like the second film of the franchise and Singh also stated, “I honestly prefer the first film over the second one.”
To sum up, I recommend watching the first film before you watch the second, the second had more lore to the games, and most people wouldn’t understand the movie and dislike the movie if they weren’t a fan of the franchise. Thus, people prefer the first film over the second. So, I recommend watching the second film only if you are a hardcore fan of the series of games and movies.
