Simran Sahota, Treasurer
Senior Simran Sahota is excited to be a new addition to The Zephyr. Optimistic and passionate, Sahota is the treasurer as well as a reporter for The Zephyr. Sahota , an AP student, has been a part of West High’s basketball along with track and field team since her freshman year allowing her to make many new friends. Being in Key Club her freshman year and in Project Smile her junior year, she greatly enjoys meeting new people. She has been volunteering at Astoria Gardens, a Senior Assisted Living Home, since the fifth grade and over the years has began meeting many other groups such as the Tracy Animal Shelter, another one of her favorite places to volunteer. In her free time she enjoys listening to music, going outdoors and also loves binge watching her latest favorite Netflix shows. Continuing to explore her options, Sahota is looking into Occupational Therapy for the future.
