Cydney Macon is a senior entering her third year of Journalism. She is the Copy Editor for The Zephyr and is eager to bring new and engaging stories to the paper. Macon is pretty active on the West High Campus. As a part of the Space and Engineering Academy (SEA), Black Student Union (BSU), California Scholarship Federation (CSF) and Wolf Pack Robotics, Macon is always on the move. She loves Journalism for being a class where she’s able to express her passion for writing. In her free time, she loves to read classics, watch Netflix shows and write short stories when she has the time. Her plans after high school are to enroll in Northwestern University and major in English. This school year, Macon hopes to celebrate her last year of her high school experience by making as many memories as she can.
